Headache From Severe Tbi

I suffered a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury about 2 years ago. I continue to have severe headaches. Every single day. A permanent headache My neuro says that with my kind of injury this is not uncommon. This is not a "migraine". Closest to a "cluster headache". Without medication, it just keeps getting worse - feels like a brain freeze. Anyway,. I have been taking 10/325 Norco for a little over a year now. I started at 2 per day, that worked pretty good, then I started having to take 3 per day to be somewhat pain free. Now, that doesn't do it most days. I guess I'm building a tolerance. I don't want to take 4 per day. Where does this lead? How long before that doesn't work? Does anyone have or know of someone who has this or a similar issue? What worked? Any suggestions?

Hello,

I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. My mother has a condition that caused her to get horrible migraines all of last year, it's really terrible. She has been able to find relief using essential oils in combination with her medications. Have you ever tried using essential oils before? They can have great healing effects throughout the entire body.

Here's a link to a page that offers information about different essential oils that can be used for headaches and how to use them: aromaweb.com/articles/aromatherapy-essential-oils-for-headaches.asp

I sure hope this helps!
