I have been taken off humira because I have to start treatment for latent tb. I have severe RA and am wondering when the severe pain is going to kick in. I have been off it a month and am feeling very little pain so far. I'm kind of nervous. Also, when I restart the humira, will I start feeling better right away?

Based on my research, Humira (Adalimumab) is used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. It works by blocking the action of TNF, a substance in the body that causes inflammation.
Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing ahead of time how well a particular medication might end up working for you. Doctor's can only assume that it will be effective based on medical records, health, age, weight, whether or not you're taking other medications, body chemistry, etc. If you found that Humira was working for your pain, then it's "very likely" that it will continue to work in the same way whenever you decide to restart it. However, things like body chemistry, age, weight, health, etc, are all subject to change over the course of 8 months. So when you do restart it, there's always a chance/risk that it may not effect you in the exact same way.
In the meantime though, I would consider asking your doctor about other more natural treatments that you can safely use as an adjunct therapy during your treatment for latent tb.
