Have The Uk 'banned' Prescribing Df118?
UpdatedI have a friend, admittedly is a recovered opiate addict (20 plus yrs clean) who has arthritis, cancer, spinal injuries and has been prescribed df's for five plus yrs. Some gp in surgery won't honour his repeat prescripton.......saying that they have been discontinued! Whilst others in the same surgery say otherwise and give him his much needed prescription. All I can find on the net is that certain brands (activists being one) has ceased to manufacture. Any info will be great. Thanks. Xxxx

Hello Katie,
I haven't found any evidence that would suggest that these pills have been banned. It sounds to me like a possible miscommunication, perhaps the doctor meant to say that the pills were no longer being manufactured by a certain brand or it is also possible that your friend misinterpreted the conversation. Either way it looks like this pill is still being circulated in the UK as of right now and I see no evidence of it being banned.
Hope this information helps. Have a great day.
