Liquid medications tend to have a very short shelf-life, so it is most likely no longer effective. Additionally, liquids can turn, so there is a chance it could actually make you ill, if you use it.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
