Has Deplin Gone Generic?

my druggist says Deplin has been generic for some time now, my sister says no. Which is it?

I noticed a warning letter on the Deplin website that says there is an unstable imposter from China posing as a generic. I don't know how much truth there is to it, but the information made me want to make sure my pharmacist doesn't switch my prescription of Deplin

Deplin contains the active ingredient L-Metyhlfolate, a form of Folic Acid.

That said, YES, there are many generics on the market and have been for many, many years.

It is simply a matter of finding on that is the same dose as what you are currently taking.

There is nothing special in the Deplin formula, thought they try to claim otherwise.

This IS true. PamLabs are under some serious Federal Law Suits right now. This product from China is NOT bioequivalent to Deplin - only 60% . It is not stable. I work at a healthcare facility and have been keeping in touch with the rep concerning this matter. PamLabs has a patent on L-Methylfolate. Sorry...no generic
