Hi Michael,
Sorry to hear about the headaches you've been having lately. According to the manufacturer, headaches are actually reported to be one of the most common side effects of Harvoni in clinic trials. However my findings go on to state that you should contact your doctor if the symptoms become too bothersome or severe.
On that note, I would even consider inquiring about alternative treatment options, knowing that headaches associated with Harvoni may or may not go away on their own until you stop taking what's causing it to begin with.
Any thoughts on this? I hope you feel better soon!
been on harvoni for 3 wks. am not taking any more!!done!headaches are getting worse, sleep is just a word.never made any sense to kill a poison with a poison!i'm done with this!!!!!
Hello I am on day 68 out of 84 days on harvoni.tiredness is always an issue.i have found that drinking alot of water is a good way to eliminate the few headaches i have had.i weigh 160 pounds and drink about 100 oz. of water a day, plus coffee and juice.
Hi My husband is on day eighteen with Harvoni! First 14 days were a breeze....With much support by me encouraging him and many prayers we are on day 18 out of 60.On day 15 however;the dreadful headache began....We had been told prior from PCP and Gastro this could be a side effect. We tried the Tylenol low doses per Harvoni Sport and no help at all! He has been on norco for quiet sometime for herniated disksC3And c4,also L4 and L5....We called PCP YESTERDAY as Topamax was suggested by pharmaceutical company! Has anyone tried this if so, how many mg,and what time of day was it taken with harmonies which he takes at 5 am with nexium per Britellus and just looking for guidance! Knowledge is Power! Thank you in advance,,, Two Southern Belles from AL RTR
You guys are all so lucky. I sure wish I had the money to afford Harvoni. I would just deal with the headaches! Better than dying from Hep C!
I had posted on another thread. Just back from the doc. I did 14 days on the garbage and my suggestion to all of you is check you blood pressures I am on bloods pressure med's I was stable. Today? I was 186/112 seeing spots! That was it I said off no more cant take it this is going to kill me.
Some of you breeze through I was not one of them. This med churns through all other med's as it revs up metabolism. Just say on top of it. This was not my time. Good luck to all.
3+ years post Harvoni and still have 24/7 headaches, tinnitus, hair loss, neuropathy, joint pain, muscle pain, lung issues, irregular heartbeat and fatigue like I have never experienced before. Wish I never took the crap. Felt 10,000 times better before treatment.
