My mother (77 yrs old) has been prescribed Ecosprin AV 75, Hosit and Calcium. She's been having it regularly for past 7-8 yrs . Now for the last few days she is getting hallucinations ( hears people saying something) and palpitations, lack of sleep and lack of appetite. Is it because of Ecosprin? Pl. Advice.

Hello, Aarti! How is your mother doing?
It is very doubtful, the U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as including symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches and they usually only last a few weeks, until someone's body gets used to the medication, then they tend to go away.
Given the hallucinations, I think it very important that she consult a doctor to have herself checked out.
