Hair Drug Tests

I want to know if tramadol shows as an opiet in a hair follicle test. The company I'm working for does a thirteen panel drug screen. Is that a test that breaks down specified prescribeddrugs for what they are or one that just says there's opiets in your system??

From what I could gather, a 13 panel screening tests for:
Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Opiate 2000, Marijuana, Phencyclidine PCP, Methadone, Benzodiazepine, Barbiturate, Tricyclic Antidepressants, Propoxyphine, Oxycodone and Buprenorphine only.

Since Tramadol hydrochloride is a centrally acting synthetic "opioid" analgesic, it will show up as an opiate in a hair follicle test. While there is always the chance of a false-positive, It is important to know that hair follicle tests can detect drugs from as far back as 3 months prior to the test.
