Hydrocodone + Ambien For Sleep?

I was given HYDROCODONE-APAP 7.5-500 tabs today.I've read they are used for sleep, however I don't feel that effect. I usually take Ambien or Seraquil for sleep. OK to combine??

Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen (APAP) is a narcotic pain medication, generic for Vicodin. They are not generally used for sleep, however, one of the side effects can be drowsiness.
