Hgfil The Difference Between Sr And Xl On Bupropion
Updated1 Reply
The XL stands for extended release, while the SR stands for slow release. Both pills are released over a longer period of time, although I'm not sure why two similar variations exist. This is something I have been curious about to with many other pills.
But I would assume that the XL and SR Bupropion are manufactured by separate companies and it may help to distinguish between certain brands if needed. This is just my educated guess, but it may have nothing to do with that. If it's really bugging you I can look up the manufacturer(s) if you have the imprint of the pills handy. I would probably suggest contacting the manufacturer's of the pills for more scientific reasoning behind it.
Hope this helps!
