Have Not Recieved Period

im on the beginning of my third month of taking the pill. ive not missed a pill yet. only been about an hour and half late a couple times. but i did not start the pill when i began my period because my health provider advised to take it whenever so i took it the day after i got them, 1st month i had two periods? 2nd month i was awaiting my period when i took like white pill but NOTHING.. im waiting and waiting and no period yet? is this normal its been 4 days since i took the last brown pill. oh and i took a pregnancy test and it came out negative sooo can someone tell me if its normal to miss a period?

Yes, hormonal contraceptives can cause you to have a delayed menstrual cycle or skip it altogether, it is perfectly normal.

Some women even continue to take the active pills to prevent their having a menstrual cycle, at times where it would be an inconvenience and there is no harm in it.

If you are concerned, however, you should consult your doctor.
