Green Specks In Hydrocodone

I'm trying to find out what the green specks in these pills are. Are they just there for the detail or are they apart of the medicine? Does it have to do with the delivery of medicine or is it the hydrocodone its self? Just curious, any ideas?

The green specks are really nothing, just something the manufacturer decided to do. As a matter of fact, there are many more of them on the market, that are just plain pills, mostly white, which have no specks, at all.

Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.
