Gramocef-O contains the active ingredient Cefixime, which is a Cephalosporin class antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections, it is not effective against viruses, no antibiotic is.

If you try to use it when it is not necessary, you also run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.
