Government Interference
UpdatedI want to know why the government thinks they can determine what medication the doctor cN give to someone. I need a doctor that can treat my husband and myself. My husband & I are in so much pain from different things over the past 35yrs. Very bad car wrecks, standing on my feet (via my jobs) for 20 or more years. We both have severe degenerative disc disease, my husbands cervical neçk is completely fused together from a very bad car wreck, he's had back surgery, arthritis in his shoulders & knees. We've both had MRI's and the doctor's have told us that we need to be on pain medication. Shots do not help, they're painful & neither one of us want them. Why can't we just stay on the meds we were getting? They helped with our pain, we didn't abuse them & we were able to get up and do things that we're not able to do now. I can't even stand for more than 10 mins and he doesn't do anything but sit in his recliner because he hurts and so do I. Is there not a pain doctor in Huntsville Alabama that's not afraid to write a prescription for pain? He's already on disability and I've filed for mine. Can someone help us? All we want is to be pain free, not just to get drugs. I'd like to go back to living a half way normal life without worrying about whether the doctor can give us our meds or not. The government needs to stay out of it if the patient has the proof that they need the medication. Makes me mad as hell. Can anyone help us? Please???
