Actually, from what I can find, they are just nutritional supplements, they contain Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Magnesium and Vitamin C, so there are no actual drug ingredients. The glucosamine and chondroitin are believed to help with joint health and mobility. What were you told they were used to treat?

Iam working in the hospital as infection control nurse,i is to walk hole hospital,recentaly i had a pain in my left knee,i went to see doctor,he diagnosed as LT .O.A,my age is 29 years,i have started on treatment that is Tab.tayo 60k,kondro acute,it is in early stage,is the any side effects of my kidney................................

I have been diagnosed withrheumatoid arthritis last week and am just starting methotrexate treatment tomorrow ## Have you talked to your doctor about it? The main problem here is that the Glucoasamine is considered an over the counter supplement, so it isn't tested for possible interactions with prescription medications. Therefore, I really think the best thing you can do is to ask them about it, before you take them together. Does anyone else have information on using them both? ## Make sure your glucoasamine has no sodium in it. By all means ask your doctor. I take Methotrexate once weekly for Psoriasis. I do not take any other med.s or supplements on that day.

what is this Capsule for Glucosamine Hydrochloride, its two tone capsule light green on one side and dark green on the other side has the letters CY i got it when I was in China and had swelling and pain in my elbow joint. ## Glucosamine is a dietary supplement that is often given to help support joint health and mobility. Glucosamine is a joint supplement to promote healthy joints during exercise or daily activities in general. The addition of MSM is an added benefit that has many of its own amazing properties. Are there any known side effects for this medicine? Also, for what purpose is it prescribed? ## The Diacerein in this is used to treat pain and inflammation from conditions such as arthritis. The other ingredients Potassium, MSM and Glucosamine are supplements that are believed to help with joint health and mobility. As to the side effects, I don't have any information on that, since the Diacerein is the only drug ingredient and it isn't approved and used in the U.S. The only one that I know having been reported from it is diarrhea.

free flex forte is a combination of glucosamine sulfate potassium chlorate 500 mg and chonroitin sulphate 400 mg ## This is actually not a medication, it is a supplement, that contains Calcium, Chondroitin, Glucosamine and Vitamin C. The manufacturer name is listed as Universal. There are several websites that sell it, that will come up in a Google search. I do not, however, know the pricing or if you can have it shipped to India. It may be easier to just find an alternative that contains the same ingredients, there are many on the market. I am taking this tablet from last 22 days for the treatment of my knee joint pain. From last 4-5 days I am feeling back pain.Is it due to this tablet or due to some other reasons? what is the main difference of action between Piascledine Vs. Sulfato de Glucosamina against arthrosis? ## These are both just natural supplements that are claimed to help with joint mobility and pain. Piascledine contains Avocado and Soybean Oil. Move Free Advanced contains Uniflex with Joint fluid, Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Therefore neither has actually been proven to help with anything. Can I use an open tub with a bbe 7/11 date? ## I can't really tell you if this Glucosamine Sulphate will help you or not, since it is expired by almost a year. Although I do agree that certain medications are actually okay to take after expiration, there are others such as antibiotics that can become toxic. Nothing lasts forever without expressing signs of degeneration. The only real way to know how long it can maintain it's potency after expiration, would be to have it lab tested periodically. Does anyone else have an opinion to share on this?

I am suffering from osteoporisis and i have been recommened Kondro Acute tablets. Actually i wanted to know if it is safe for Kidney as my right kidney is not functioning, only my left kidney is funtioning so i have to be very careful in taking medicines. Please let me know at the earliest. ## Kondro Acute contains Glucosamine and Diacerein, this combines a supplement claimed to help joint mobility with an interleukin-1 inhibitor. So, the main concern here is the Diacerein, since it is the actual drug component. From what I have found, when someone has lowered kidney function, the dosage of this medication must be adjusted accordingly. Need to know what is in it? Is it causing my weight gain? I take it daily and have no pain. but have gain substantle weight. ## The information I am finding on Artridol lists it as being a supplement that contains Glucosamine, which is believed to help with various conditions that cause joint pain. That said, however, as a supplement, it has not been studied for side effects, as is done for actual prescription medications. Thus, it is difficult to say what may be causing your weight gain.
