Given Tramadol Again....

I recently weened myself off these silly things after taking them for years, I was up to 30 to 40 a day. So I worked with my doc and after 3 months of weening and being clean for a week, first 3 days were hell BTW, I got injured. I went to my same doc and she wrote me a script for.....guess what???? Yepers trams. I am wondering if I will fall backwards in my attempt to be clean if I am able to take them 1 or 2 a day or if I should just throw the script away??? My doc told me I should be just fine and it is on 20 pills but I just don't know..

Congratulations on getting clean! That's very hard to do!

And to be honest, if it were me, I would not take it. Once you've dealt with addiction and abuse of something, even with good intentions, its usually just best to stay away from it, because temptation might always be there, it could also start up cravings, again.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I'm not sure why your doctor would prescribe it, after the problem you had.
