Just to confirm, I have identified pill imprint GG 249 as Alprazolam 2mg- which is indeed generic Xanax.
Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc.
National Drug Code (NDC): 00781-1089
The reason why this medication "may" not seem as effective could be due to the fact that if a medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to be allowed to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient. Also, depending on the manufacturer- the binders and fillers (inactive ingredients) used could be different than what you're used to.
