Generic Losartan 100mg

Please help identify this pill. It is solid white oval/elliptical no scoring or inscription other than 13 on one side only. It is supposed to be losartan 100mg. However I can find no verification that this is so. Thanks G

Where did you get it?

I can't find a listing in the prescription drug databases for any tablet with just a 13 on it.

Losartan is an ARB that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Typical side effects are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, hypotension and stomach pain.

I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.

Does anyone else recognize this tablet?

I got it from my pharmacy and was affraid a mistake had been made because it was new and different. I could find no verification on the internet, or with other pharmacy's. I have since learned that the pill is made by virtus pharmaceutical company. Still can't find an image of the pill though. Is anyone else familiar with it? Thanks

I have a concern on the losartan 100mg in the back is a 13....It was round and small..now I ran out of pills so I went back to the pharmacy to get my prescription fill....and not the are giving me an oval pill 100 mg with the number 13 but is twice as big as the one I was getting before...please help I need to take my medicine as soon as possible. from tampa fl Walgreen drug store on waters ave thanks urgent

I just got my new prescription of Losartan 100 mg and mine is bigger and has a 13 on it. I don't understand why they change these things ALL the time. I couldn't find a picture of it as well. Very irritating and worrisome! I'm going back to talk to my pharmacist.

Yes mine is exactly the same as yours but prior to that it was green same 100 mg dosage. Then I switched to 90 day supply home delivery and it was a white pill. I was skeptical too.
