Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Page 26) (Top voted first)
UpdatedIt's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?
Precious how is it that you are even on this site if you have no problems with your pain. Is it that you have nothing better to do but to look for people to put down and degrade. It is obvious you do have a problem. It may not be with pain control and addiction but maybe some mental issues. I will pray for you. Please get the help you need.
I have been taking m367 for about 3 months. I started with 7.5mg but it just didn't help much. I told my Dr it didn't help much so he gave me 10mg which works better. Today I ma going to fill anew script and I am going to ask for brand name instead of generic, hopefully it will work better. I am waiting for a hip replacement and my pain is debilitating.
I hear ya. I'm 63 and I don't give a flyin F what anyone thinks at this point. I use 10/325's 4 times a day, 2 in am and 2 in pm. I have no use for those who don't know what real pain is and somehow want to "control" how much you're in and give us a hard time.
The name Qualitest is a brand name of a generic. Make sure you indicate that or you will be paying a bundle for a non-generic drug.
Yes, you should stay off of here - folks come here for advice, not to seek something stronger like addicts do.
Precious. I to take my meds as prescribed and if I run out which I never do I can wait also I have been on pain meds for 3 years for problems I do not wish to discuss with ignorance.I have never had a problem with any of my doctors who are all on the same page #no cure. It is with the manufacturers I have also been speaking with the fda to ensure the meds are better regulated and testing you see some of the opiates they are putting in your Norco 10/325 are a derivative of morphine which I am allergic to.they are making the drug this way to stop abuse which I know there is a lot of but what about the people who are dying and no cure for the disease they should not have to suffer because of this it is up to your doctors to decide if you need this med and the pharmacies should have a list of your condition so they do not treat everyone like a drug addict.
Precious,
I think you need to let us know who your are addressing. Most of us do not have a problem with drugs.
You need to be fair and not attack others. You do not know their situation. I am elderly and your remarks do not bother me. I have learned that people who are unkind and judgmental are very unhappy people.
You seem to think you are above everyone else because of the amount you take? I am wondering what lead you to this site.
Well said, Patti. I am sorry you are suffering with something that is not curable. My prayers your way. I have been waiting for 2 weeks for the mail order pharmacy to fill my prescription (required now by my insurance to us this pharmacy), and of course, due to the delay, I have run out. I honestly can say I have not been in this overall pain situation for years. I can barely move and when I do it screams pain at me. The FDA is in cahoots with the government and over-regulated as it is. I am afraid for what the future holds for those of us who do need our "real" pain meds. Best of luck to you, Patti.
Precious, You changed your story. Huh.. I don't think you understand the difference between addiction and dependent. Young people in your age category generally get addicted to these type medications. You see, doctors vary rarely write scripts of this nature to young people your age. You have a long time to live your life yet and are too young to be on any long term pain management program. Any doctor knows that your use is extremely limited. This use of these medications can have grave consequences in your young life. However, older people like myself. Id say I am old enough to be your parent that has lived that part of my life, do not have the risk of an addiction like you would. Therefore, when someone my age (well over 50) has chronic pain, we become dependent on medication to function each day for the short period of time we have left in life to live because we have a real reason to be on this type medication. In many cases, like mine, we have a legitimate cause and reason to take this medication for the rest of our lives and will never have a problem getting it. So who cares about addiction? You, on the other hand, run a very high risk of addiction because no doctor, nowhere, no how will keep you on this medication for the rest of your life. So I suggest to you to figure out a way to manage your pain without these type drugs. Bragging about how you are immune to any long term effects and how happy you are is plain silly.
I also have found the M367 Norco not as effective as Watson, but a recent batch of Watson white from Walgreens did nothing to help with my pain and had terrible side effects. They refused to take them back and give me different meds. Whatever these are they are not the meds I've been taking and we have a right to know why and what is being put into our bodies. There are legitimate pain sufferers like myself who deserve to live a pain free life and not put up with constant harassment, belittling and counterfeits. I'm 54, I hurt and I need some relief during my daily routine.
I have chronic back pain I take the M367 I get them at CVS WATSON now makes them they work great
I hear you!
I am 60 & have to prove I am not a dope fiend to everyone!
Most of my days are spent in severe pain, unable to live a normal daily life!
The yellow Watson are white now. Watson took the dye out of em. They ain't as good as they use to be.
Watson sold out to Activis. That is what I receive now. I heard so many say the Watson's were so much stronger and I believe them all. I never had the yellow Watson's because I was given codeine before and then switched to Norco 10 when my condition worsened.
I read somewhere on the internet that the branded Norco is over $300. I think most insurance companies will not pay for the brand name.
Yes I have the same problem and to me its like taking ibuprofen hardly no relief as all
Bottom line, my pharmacist told me to have my doctor write: "Qualitest brand only..no substitutions." It is a generic Norco (10/325 yellow oblong pills) and it is the only brand that I can take and have it do the job that it was meant to do without over-medicating. It takes longer to get it through the mail order pharmacy (usually 2-3 weeks). I have found that many local pharmacies (in San Diego County) no longer carry Qualitest brand. I guess they make more money on the M367's than the Qualitest, but the patient suffers in the long run. You may want to have a discussion with your physician and ask him/her what they recommend. It just seems so unreal that with the government regulations and the new classification of the opiate medications, how awkward you feel when you do question the pharmacists and doctors. At a time in our history when wonderful medical achievements are happening every day, it seems so rediculous that we should feel guilty about asking for the medication that works for us individually. Well, I will get off my soapbox now.
I think Precious needs to be removed from this thread as an instigator and too low of an IQ to understand the contents...just sayin'.
I have reported this person to the admin
Precious was taking drugs at age 14 and now at 31? she is fine. Take her off of her meds and she will see that only SHE is the addict. I won't waste my time with anyone who calls themselves Precious.
At age 31 I took nothing but vitamins.
Precious
I'm 63 and have been retired nine years. I take two in the morning and two in the evening. A few times a week I don't need the evening dose. A few times a month I might have to take another one in the AM since this is the most painful part of the day for me. I've been taking Norco for over 8yrs and have not had to move up to anything stronger. Who on here is a junkie and how many do they take a day?
