Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Page 21)
UpdatedIt's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?
It works better if you take as directed by your Doctor. That's 975mg of acetaminophen in an hour. You should have 2-3 hours of relief after it peaks. I take 4 a day. One every 6 hours and it works really well. More than 4000mg of acetaminophen is not good for you. Hope this helps. There are very hard to get off. I thought I weened myself off one time, I had eight of the worse days old my life. Couldn't sleep, my heart was pounding with restless leg syndrome. The sixth day I started feeling better. Each time I get a refill I practice weening myself off of them they're the devil.
I like the Watson's they seem to work faster and lasts longer.
As I have stated before, my pharmacist told me always get Qualitest brand generic. I does work best compared to any others on the market.
I've had them they were yellow. Easy to break in half.
Hi,
i have to take 3 just to get a little relief
for my back and knee pain.
Watson is now Actavis. Your pills may say Watson but they are not.
How does one take three at a time and not run short? I agree the new Norco 10 is not as strong but most pharmacies only have Actavis. The pharmacists say those are the only brand they can order.
Well the best solution to the problem would be to put out the money and get the name brand. But If you are like me, I quit going to my doctor because he costs $235 per month to see him, plus the money for the meds was costing me a fortune. Now I just lay in the bed most of the time hoping I can find a doctor who will write opiates that my insurance will accept and also pay for the meds.. All these doctors want to do now is inj. you with ineffective ***** that will only last a few days. I don't know if they have improved any since but the only thing that really took the edge off was the pain pills.
I haven't found a Walgreens that carries them. I found a Pharmacy that's a cross the street they seem to always carries them. The last few times they wanted to make a copy of my Drivers License.

I think that with your pain level and inability to get out of bed you should file for disability. No one should suffer.
As for the Walgreens post it depends on which state you reside in. I tried CVS and most pharmacies. I do find that my Walgreens does not give me any problems and even my husband can pick up my prescription. We both see the same physician and they know us.
You can have your physician request Qualitest brand only. They can order it for you.
Thank you for the reply Jasmine, but it's not the pharmacy that is the problem. It is the doctors who won't prescribe narcotics in my network to cover most of the cost. I was seeing a doctor that would prescribe narcotics but his fee is beyond my budget ($225). And yes, I already am on SSDI but it's not enough to be going every month as they require me to. No one in my area knows a network doctor who will write. So right now I'm just dealing with the pain as much as I can. But thanks for the suggestions.
Yes. I have severe back problems, and this medication is not helping me. I hope I will have fusion surgery before Christmas. I have always received the name brand of all my medications and asked for the "Norco" brand of this medication. There is a great deal of stigma attached to the use of legal medications and the poor people {not necessarily "poor" as in financially unable to afford medical treatment but rather "poor" as in reference to those who may never demonstsrate that they medwho are stricken with arthritis, life threatening diseases, and health problems which abruptly kills that unfortunate soul. Karen
Dear Karen,
After reading your post I cringed for you. I had 9 back & neck surgeries in under 3 yrs, it was a living hell. Thinking about it now, really not sure how I made it, I'm divorced & was all by myself. I want to advice you about having your fusion surgery, please listen.. The worst of all of my surgeries was my fusion, I was only given norco! I thought about jumping off a cliff because I was suffering in pain so badly but I wasn't able to walk to the bathroom or get out of bed by myself, no way could I get to a cliff. This situation breaks every law about patients rights. I was a nurse, was severely beaten by a lockdown unit patient, know what I'm taking about. Although I'm glad a year & a half later that I had the surgery, it did help me a lot, please, DO NOT have the surgery unless you have in your hand an Rx for Oxycodone (or something else stronger than norco!) & make sure you have it filled & before you have surgery because you may find it hard to find a pharmacy to fill it for you, or you may be like I was, a complete mess in pain. I hope all goes ok with you & wish you the best recovery.
Wow, Karen! What a horrible time for you. Glad you came out the other end of it okay. I agree with you about the surgery and the meds. Also, be sure you have someone at home to help. When I had cervical spine surgery I couldn't have done the recovery alone. xo
I've never had a yellow norco I've always had the white small oblong pill
Sharon, it is Qualitest brand generic. You can ask your pharmacist for it. They can order it if you don't mind waiting. If they don't order it, it is because they are only trying to save money on the cheaper brands. Have your doctor write "Qualitest brand only" on the script.
That company uses the cheapest ingredients it can find. I have had the exact same problem and I didn't read all the responses but I know it is a common problem with this brand. And since it is so cheap many pharmacies won't switch to another brand. I don't know where you live but here in Tennessee around clarksville and nashville walgreens tends to carry the Watson brand which is far superior in my opinion.
Actually, Watson had fillers that made me sick. My pharmacist always recommends Qualitest.
You might ask your doctor for Neurontin along with your pain meds. It really works on nerve issues that cause pain or funny sensations from the nerves being mashed on. I take Neurontin, Mobic, and Tylenol 4 for issues with Sciatica and Arthritis. My doctor won't give me anything stronger than Tylenol 4. But the Neurontin helps a lot.
