It's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?
I take two Soma at bedtime to help me sleep and it helps with the neuropathy. I had it filled at our local pharmacy, and the doctor wrote it for a 3-month prescription and surprise of all surprises, they filled 90 days at once. We live in a verry small town (3,500) or so full-time residents, so people are likely to know a number of other people who live here fulltime. My doctor and the pharmacist both know what I take Norco and Soma for, and that I go to a specialist for the Norco. I am sorry you are having so many problems. I understand, believe me.
The problem is also that many doctors will no longer fill any controlled substances. They lie and say they cannot or else they say they won't fill.
I ran out of my Soma and my family doctor is gone for two weeks. I had a refill on it but Walgreens said every six months I have to get a new prescription for Soma. Not one doctor in his office has agreed to help me. I am hoping tomorrow I can try again. Then I worry that these doctors may influence my doctor.
I pay out of pocket because Medicare won't pay for Soma or Norco. I have my Norco but not the Soma. It is not my doctor's fault because my bottle said one more refill. I keep wondering is this a law or is it my insurance and why do they care if I pay for the pills.
Does anyone here take Soma? It helps spinal pain.
Hate it when the government gets involved in regulations for drugs.
My dr refused said they cannot do that and 15 pharmacies said they don't carry brand name norco nor will they order it this happened in both Wisconsin and in florida
Rk, you are absolutely incorrect. My doctor (in CA) writes generic name-specific because many people cannot take certain generics as they have bad side effects and they don't work. My insurance co. requires that we have all long-term medicine filled through Express Scripts mail order and I send in a 90-day supply, original prescription with Qualitest only, no substitution. They will find a pharmacy that will fill it and I have had no problem for over a year now of doing it this way. It can be done so check into it before you go making statements about which you know nothing.
Most will not fill brand name and say they don't keep it in stock and won't order it for you. I hate it when ppl tell others do to this be cause drs will not write it out either
Yup all the white ones r awful and since moving back to fl now 3 pharmacies so far don't carry qualiTEST I have lost my part time job due to this crap not helping my pain and causing me to be tired and nauseous and feet swollen and I'm about yo be homeless now. The makers of the white ones must be barely any pain med in them at all it is sickening that these companies can get away w doing this b.s..
If you have your doctor write brand-specific, no substitutions and put Qualitest, they will either order it for you or you will need to go to another pharmacy that has that brand. I have found that you really have to be pro-active when it comes to pain meds. I wish you nothing but the best and hope you find what you need that works.
Sandy both Walgreens and CVS will not give me Qualitest. They only stock Activis .
Then when we ask for a certain generic they get angry or they will act like we are druggies.
Matte, insist on Qualitest brand. Those are the only one my pharmacist says will do the job. Best of luck to you and believe me, I know your pain.
I have been taking the yellow hydro for almost three years now I'm taking M367 and since 7:00 this morning I've taken double the amount I usually do for relief and nothing yet still in horrible pain.
Willie, you are absolutely correct. If the government is going to regulate us, at least they should be consistent!
The FDA allows the manufacturing companies to make the generics up to 20percent weaker, so this might be the problem,.
Jasmine, I have a wonderful rheumatologist who listens to me and when I have a concern, I email her and she calls me back. I know how rare that is these days. I hope to keep it on an even keel and that nothing new pops up to make a med adjustment necessary again. I hope the next president will overturn Obamacare and create a health care system that works for us all and doesn't cater to the drug lords. I apologize for bringing politics into this discussion, but when a certain person said 'you have to pass it so you can see what's in it' about Obamacare, I blew a fuse. That aside, I am so glad that you have found a combination that works for you. Take care.
Sandy I am happy to hear you are taking Soma. I have read for muscle spasms and pain they are very effective. My physician lets me take them three times a day and he asks how I am doing.
I realize I am lucky he cares. I have the MRI's and scans and yet some doctors do not care. They are abusive to pain patients. Do not ever let them make you feel guilty.
Yes I did but now I'm fine I don't take them any more
Jasmine, I have recently added two Soma per day with my Norco and that has especially helped with the neuropathy I have been experiencing of late. Ronin, as far as your comment about Obamacare, it absolutely has had something to do with reclassifying these meds to class 2 drugs, making them harder to get. It isn't the folks who need the meds to make each day liveable, it is the drug addicts and the drug sellers that are causing the clampdown. When government regulates health care and the FDA as much as they are now, it is more difficult to have quality of life. Don't blame the people who are just trying to get through each day, blame the over-reaching arms of government.
Walgreens has Activis brand. I take my Norco with Soma and that is more effective for pain relief than taking two Norco . Doctors don't want us taking more than one at a time. Then we get in trouble with refills.
You are right the m367 are weaker
The also upset my stomach. I get the 10-325 but they are white and look just like the yellows. Try Walgreens.
Obamacare had nothing to do with it, people abusing it did
