Gc Ms Testing Synopsis

I have taken 5 UA test at 3 different locations. I recently tested at a new location and I think it was a lab that I have never tested with before, but definitely a new location. The doctor said that I tested positive for amphetamines. I believe it through me into shock, because I know that was not a possible result from my sample, they tested the wrong sample or basically they Fd up! I have been analyzing everything and researching in hopes to discover some explanation how this could happen. I offered to test again at my expense. That option was not available. They said for $150.00(which I believe is less than what it would cost for a new lab to be done)they could test the same specimen. Is that an option worth trying? And let's say it was to(let's use three possible outcomes) the first shows no detected levels for narcotics, then what? the second outcome is exactly the same(and I am going to out on a limb to say the exact same results would be highly unlikely, or suspicious)then what? the third outcome is positive to be under the influence. then what? I have been disecting this for a week. Nobody likes to admit to making a mistake, but it seems as though the lab is in competition for perfection with God and I think they feel it is something they can win. Maybe Jesus became CEO and we just did'nt hear about it. The question related to the title, what specificaly does the gc/ms testing offer in comparison to the UA? and if why would they just use it initially?

I agree that no one wants to be wrong or admit mistakes. I am going through similar situation where my 14 year is alleged to use cocaine because a "fail proof" test says so in spite of everything else about her being contrary to a drug user.
