I am taking loparet tablet regularly twice in a week for a long time.. if we take loparet for long time (nearly six months), will it cause any side effect? ## All medications carry the risk of side effects, even over the counter products and especially with long-term use. Loperamide is used to treat diarrhea, but generally only for a short period of time. If you need it that frequently, you should consult a doctor, because there could be a medical condition causing your problem that may require treatment. Normal side effects may include: nausea, constipation, abdominal pain and bloating. Learn more: Have you consulted a doctor, yet?

My wife has been taking Imodium (6) but has exhausted her supply. Is it safe for her to continue her attempt to stop the direah with the Diphen Atrop 2.5mg? ## Has she consulted a doctor? Anytime that diarrhea is continuous like this, someone should seek medical attention, because it could be the sign of serious health problems. It also creates the very serious risk of dehydration. The problem with this medication is that its only meant to treat acute diarrhea, which would be that of a limited duration. If it's chronic, which means ongoing, then she needs to see a doctor for assistance and a proper diagnosis as to what's causing it.

Loose motion probably after eating curd ## Was this just a brief occurrence, or has it been continuing? If it's just a brief bout of diarrhea, after eating something, then there is really no need to treat it. However, if it has continued and is causing a problem, then medical intervention might be necessary. In most countries, Loperamide can be obtained over the counter to help treat it, but it is always best to consult with your doctor or pharmacist, before taking anything. ## Thanks for the reply.Problem is over. I have very vivid and busy dreams almost like movies, every night. If I get up in the night, I will have a double-header. I don't watch much TV, but the dreams will be bits and pieces of what has happened or what I have seen recently and mixed all together. ## I started taking Dexilant (was called Kapidex). Not until then did I have such vivid dreams. So weird..like whole movies. LOL And, I, too, will have 2-3 dreams like that per night. I am thinking about getting a tablet for my nightstand and jotting a book down! ;D ## I, too, am having the CRAZIEST dreams while taking Dexilant 60 mg 1x a day in the morning. I've been taking it a while, it works great! Last 2 months, I've had dreams that defy explanation! ## I started taking Kapidex and started having very vivid dreams an...

I was given a sample (60mg) and it reads "Product of Japan. Distributed by Deerfield, Illinois". I heard we need to be careful of products coming from another country. Is it safe? Thank you. ## Generally, when you see those warnings, it is referring to products that are not approved for sale in the U.S. or their over the counter products. There are many medications on the U.S. market that are manufactured in Japan, as well as other countries, but they are approved to be sold and used here. They are held to the same strict standards of FDA approval as other products are, that are manufactured in the U.S. Dexilant contains the active ingredient Dexlansoprazole, it is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid produced by the stomach, to treat or prevent conditions suc...

My friend who is traveling has been prescribed this by a doctor in Guatemala for treatment of amoebic dysentary. When will alicaforsen be approved in the USA and Canada? I've waited long enough! Will there be TV advertising ? Will Canada approve Alicaforsen at the same time as the USA. My Wife Is Suffering From Heavy Breathing, since 2 days , and she has complain of back pain also ## Anytime that someone is facing a medical emergency, you should contact your nearest emergency services department or take them there for proper diagnosis and treatment. Just from the information you have provided, no one can give you a definitive diagnosis and suggest treatments. That will require a doctor and the use of medical tests. There are many conditions that could cause this problem. Some are not actually dangerous and just cause discomfort, such as GERD, indigestion and gastritis. However, others, such a congestive heart failure, can be life threatening. Does she have any other medical conditions, such as high blood pressure? Does she suffer from peripheral edema?

The first time I received a prescription for dexilant, it was a very tiny all blue capsule. When I renewed the prescription it was a blue and grey capsule that is slightly larger but both were 30 mg. Why are they different? ## Because they way a medication looks actually means nothing, it is entirely up to the manufacturer. Since it is also illegal to copy the trademarked product from another company, they each have to make them look different. Imprints also have to be different from on company to the other, to identify the drug, dose and manufacturer, in case of emergency. The new ones that you received have just been made by a different company. Sometimes, even the look of name brand pills change, when the company decides to redesign them Do you have any other questions? ## Dexilant i...
