hello, could u tell me where did u find that medicine> gabbroral or paromomycin. We are in urgent need of it and we are not finding it anywhere.which country did u find it in. Any information is highly appreciated. thx

Paromomycin sulfate (the active ingredient in Gabbroral) is an antibiotic indicated for intestinal amebiasis. Dosage instructions are largely based on what you're dealing with. Assuming that you are using this medication for it's primary use of intestinal amebiasis, dosages are as follows:

Adults and Children: Usual dose—25 to 35 mg per kg body weight daily, administered in three doses with meals, for five to ten days.

What milligram dosage of Gabbroral 250mg tablets do I give a child who is around 27/28 kgs and is 12 years old? The information on the leaflet does not give a clear dosage for a layman. It says give 30mg per kg, per day!!! What does that mean in milligrams?
