Gabapentin And Nortriptyline
UpdatedGabapentin and Nortriptyline were prescribed after chemo nerve damage. I would break out in shingles and barely walk due to pain on my right leg. I took Gabapentin by itself and I was still suffering. After adding Nortriptyline I was so thankful. I haven't had any more pain since.

That's awesome!!! I'm so very glad that they are working for you.
I tried Gabapentin for sciatic pain, but it messed with me far more than it helped, it was causing odd blood work results, making me really tired, headaches, and etc., what the FDA calls the typical side effects. For me, it just wasn't worth continuing to take it.
I've never been on Nortriptyline, but it is often used to treat these types of neuralgia. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes.

Are you done with Chemo, now?
Re: VerFree (# 1)
Yes I’m done with chemo I did 6 weeks of radiation. I ended up with taking 3 gabapentin I was still in so much pain. My doctor said let me do some research and he said just take 1 400mg gabapentin and 1 25mg Nortriptyline 3xs a day I couldn’t believe how the pain went away within 24 hours. My pet scan was clear.. chemo last treatment was December 2019.
