Gabapentin Help

The doctor put me on Gabapentin 300MG Cap for numbness at the bottom of my feet and I'm having trouble with this as my body aches with dizziness, blurred vision and all the rest of them, I would like to know how long would it take for Gabapintin to be out of my system once I stop taking it....

Hello, Aj! How are you feeling? Have your symptoms improved, yet?

These types of side effects can occur with Gabapentin, but they'll usually taper off in severity after about 4 weeks, or so, once your body gets used to the medication.

Hi,

It's been over 6 months that I have been on Gabapentin and I can't even walk without
staggering, I'm going to tapper off this meds and see if it will help.

Tapering works but takes too long, switch to Klonopin while at a small dose and then just stop the Gababenton, continue the Klonopin until you feel no desire for the gababenton. I quit 120mg of Methadone using only Klonopin, it worked. Now I am trying to do the same for Gabapenton. I am having too many side effects , like leg weakness, general fatigue, any insomnia. Klonopin or any Benzo will work. xanax,valium,temazepam,ativan or any others in that group. As long as you are not also addicted to any Benzos, you should be able to quit gababenton.p

I used to get a horrible metallic taste in my mouth. I couldn't cope with them. I ended up on pregabalin, and no side effects.
