Gabapentin 800mg Help To Pay

Trying to find help to pay for my meds. I take gabapentin 800 mg three times a day and now they just now put me on a spin down where they won't cover my prescriptions unless I spend $1,600 every 3 months on medical. So I was wondering if there's any programs that you know of you can point me in the right direction? Thank you, bye bye.

Hi Joyce - sorry to hear about your challenges covering the Gabapentin costs. Truly a sad thing to hear as noone should have to extend themselves financially to pay for a drug that helps them! Well, I imagine that you may have several options. One could be trying out a rx discount card like this one this site offers. It's free to use, and in some cases it can really offer a good savings on prescription refills. Another route would be to try and see if the drug manufacturer offers a patient assistance program. Have you looked into this at all, and do you know the manufacturer name? In many cases they are able and willing to offer significant discounts on their medications if a patient qualifies. And the last option could be to fill your prescription outside the country. It's prohibitive to for most people to travel whenever they need a refill, but for some, it's a much better option since the cost of the same drugs could be significantly less in Canada or Mexico. jj, what program are you on? If you are getting your rx dispensed by a licensed pharmacy then I'd be interested to know.
