Gab Bac Cyc Ib Lid Cr Topical
UpdatedHi. I have had my C6 and C7 replaced in my neck and I am under pain management and I wanted to know about this medicine called "849 gab bac cyc ib lid cr". Would it be good for me when I'm having pain around my shoulders in my neck to rub on?

Hi Ethel,
Sorry to hear about your situation. I hope you're well on your way to full recovery from the neck surgery.
- Gab stands for Gabapentin
- Bac stands for Baclofen
- Cyc stands for Cyclobenzaprine
- Ib stands for Ibuprofen
- Lid stands for Lidocaine
- Cr typically stands for Cream (or being topical)
Gabapentin is often prescribed for nerve pain. Baclofen and Cyclobenzaprine are both muscle relaxers. Ibuprofen is used for mild pain relief. And Lidocaine is also numbing and offers some degree of pain relief.
Depending on how severe your pain is, I don't see why it wouldn't be of benefit to try this. However, the only way to know if it will be good for you is to give it a chance.
Hope this helps!
What is this mostly used for? Can I put it on my ribs? I have hit my side there and it's sore.
