Markings on this pill are from azithromycin, typically a 250mg tablet. It is commonly considered the world's best selling anti-biotic. Prescription uses include the treatment of any bacterial infection; inner ear infection, pneumonia, throat infections, etc, as well as some STD's.

You can google the drug or look it up over at wikipedia - they have a great article about it.
