Just wanted to know if I can use the G & W 3171 pill for a tooth infection? I have some left over from my doctor and I see a bump growing in my mouth. I'm pretty sure that's the infection forming by my tooth. I'm in a lot of pain and don't have time to go to a dentist. Can I use these in the meantime? Please help.

The pill you're describing is reportedly identified as Clindamycin hydrochloride 150 mg, made by G & W Labs with a National Drug Code of 00713-3171.
From what I understand, Clindamycin is a potent broad-spectrum antibiotic that I believe if taken correctly could prove useful for a tooth infection. In past experiences I recall receiving Clindamycin, Amoxicillin, Penicillin & even Ciprofloxacin (at different times of my life for tooth infections). Just be sure that you have a full course of treatment available to ensure the infection is well taken care of. Probiotics post-treatment can also help restore any beneficial bacteria that was killed off from the pharmaceutical.
