Furosemide80mg Tab Ran

have been taking furosemide 40 mg for 25 years it suddenly stopped working and I gained 25 lbs rather guickly. I cannot find the manf. of the 80mg.pills that the pharmacy sub for the fortys and now they want to charge me full price for generic kind.

The pharmacy should be able to order them in for you. If they won't, you may need to try a different pharmacy.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Do you also watch your diet, and sodium intake?

What other medications have you tried?
