Furosemide: V 3169 Versus 54 840

My Furosemide dose continues at three 20mg pills twice a day, but a change occurred with the manufacturer. It was Westward (54 840) and now it's Solco Health (V 3169). My daytime blood pressure is now dropping. Is there any correlation between this and the differences in pills? Both are 20mg tablets.

How low is it dropping? Have you made any other changes to your diet, or lifestyle?

Sometimes, as ones blood pressure gets lower, medication doses need to be lowered to keep it from going too low.

Are you also making sure that you are staying hydrated? Furosemide works by removing excess fluid from the body, and if you become dehydrated, that will also cause your blood pressure to drop. Other side effects may include dizziness, headache, and increased urination.
