I was prescribed by my doctor to take 1 tablet each morning. I have a lot of lung, bone, reflex and other issues. On O2 daily now. Are there any side effects I should watch for? Also, on the same day I was prescribed to take a Potassium Chloride Micro 10meq ER tab once daily. Any suggestions? I have a lot of GI issues.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Furosemide as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, dehydration, and hypotension.
The biggest thing to watch out for is the dehydration. Please make sure that you are taking in enough fluids each day.
Are you on any other medications, or just these 2?
