Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you should be able to just do a clean switch from one to the other. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, spotting and PMS-like symptoms.
Are you on any other medications? Have you made the switch, yet?
