Fortesta Dosing Protocol

I get the common side effect of redness and skin irritation in application area when administering 4 pumps of Fortesta. If I reduce to 2 pumps AM and 2 pumps PM, I don't get the side effects.

Question: Is my dosage still adequate or this ineffective for the prescribed problem of low testosterone?

I would actually think that splitting the dose (the way you have been) is the most effective way to maintain elevated testosterone levels, since you're re-feeding it to your body at different times of the day. This would somewhat mimic an extended release effect in my opinion.

I also believe that if you're not getting any of the side effects then that is a good thing. Your body is better able to utilize the hormone in smaller increments rather than having it overwhelmed with a full-dose that makes you breakout, because your body doesn't know what to do with the excess hormone.

Have you talked to your doctor about this yet?
