Has anyone experienced growing/lengthening of bones while taking Forteo? I have been using it for about 5 months now and I think I'm actually growing! At age 51! I was just fitted for new sneakers and went from a size 9 to a 10.5 and I've noticed that the long sleeves on some of my tops have become not so long sleeved.

The FDA does not list that as being a normal side effect of this medication, but there is no way to say how anyone will be affected by any given medication. The typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, joint/muscle aches, and administration site reactions.
However, there are also other medical conditions that may cause such issues, so it would be best to check with your physician to be sure.
