I found a lump under my arm and my dr.prescribed the ST antibiotic. I just took the last one after taking 2 a day for a week. The lump hasnt changed at all. Im trying to understand why he would give me an antibiotic for a lump anyway. Idk. Hes the dr.right!

Well, only your doctor can give you a definitive answer, but it seems there's a good chance he may have thought it was some type of cyst. An antibiotic is often the first thing to try to get rid of surface cysts like that.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
However, some lumps under the arm are due to blocked sweat glands. I used to get them, when I used one particular brand of deodorant. Once I stopped using it, they eventually went away on their own.
Another idea is that he may have thought it was a swollen gland and you had some type of infection.
Has there been any change, yet?
