Foods To Avoid On Sulfameth Trimeth Ds

I know I should not drink alcohol, or citrus juices (grapefruit) Are there other foods I should avoid? What about coffee, and yogurt? (a bacterial culture) I have a urinary tract infection and would like to have my morning coffee but fear it may aggrevate the urinary tract.

i have taken sulfameth ds for 5 days for a minor infection
I beleive that should be enough.

Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim, the active ingredient in Bactrim is actually only warned about in conjunction with the alcohol.

There are no warnings with using it, when eating or drinking anything else, though you may want to check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain.

As to the coffee, that is the main concern with it, it is acidic and worsen the irritation and pain of a UTI.
