My 34-year-old wife is suffering from psoriasis from the last 7 years. Now she has pain in 3 joints from the last 2 years. Her doctor recommended folitrax 7.5mg - 2 tablets in a week. Kindly tell me about side effects of this medicine.

Folitrax contains the active ingredient Methotrexate, among other uses, in this case, it is used to treat the immune problems, that can cause Psoriasis.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, compromised immunity and hair loss.
