Folitrax 7.5mg Two Tablets A Week

I have been prescribed Folitrax 7.5mg, two tablets a week. Will taking these tablets cause any side effects?

I am taking 20 mg folitrax per week and folvite 5 mg every day. I have started feeling uncomfortable. a sort of stomack discomfort is there. Can I stop these tablets. Now my RA is completely better?

Folitrax contains the active ingredient Methotrexate, it's used to treat cancer and several autoimmune disorders.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, abdominal pain and fatigue.

And no, it should not be taken if you are trying to get pregnant, or if you become pregnant, this medication is actually used to help with drug induced abortions. As to a solution, you'll need to consult your doctor to see what your other treatment options might be.
