Iam trying to concieve twins. I have read that you should take folic acid. If I take double have i got better chance. Iam currently taking recommended dosage of 500mcg. How are you doing? If you are trying to get pregnant and want the best possible outcome, then you should check with your doctor, before taking anything new, even something that is just a supplement. It would be the best and safest thing to do, in order to try and prevent another miscarriage. As to not being pregnant again, yet….that could take awhile. I am a 18 year old girl and according to clinic i am pregnant my friend gave me some small yellow tablets in a bottle labeled Be-tab folic acid is this the correct tablets and what are they for and can i take them being pregnant. ## I am pretty sure that what you were given is a nutritional supplement containing Folic Acid 5 mg. This is supposed to be a good supplement for women to take while pregnant. Hi. Im a married woman. My ob gave me folart folic acid 5mg once a day after dinner. Before that id experience inbetween cycle bleed about 1-2days but its not a pure blood the slight bleed is accompanied with white blood..my doctor gave me that folart folic acid and she told me that my organ vagina is sensitive.she gave me that vit. for 3months. I've been taking 15 mg deplin for nearly 6 months and it seems to be working quite well. I'm a single and disabled mom and don't get child support. My parents have been paying for itit, but it isn't fair to them. I went to see my psychiatrist yesterday who looked it up. He thinks that if I were to take folic acid, calcium and magnesium that it would be equivalent to the active ingredients in deplin. Is this true? If it is, what would the amounts of each supplement be to equal the 15 mg deplin? I can't afford to stay on the deplin anymore, so any information will be greatly appreciated!!! I am in my third trimester and I cheked my hemoglubine for the first time that was 8.9. I tooke TriHEMIC tablets that has ferrus fumarate 350mg folic acid 1mg vitC 600mg vitB12 25mcg and vitC 30iu.
