Flupentixol And Melitracen

Gastro has prescribed this medicine , I am suffering from Chronic IBS and anal gastritis and always having upset stomach, I vomit white foam, some times reflux , now my question is that I have heard that this medicine is un safe, even i heard that Indian Govt. thinks to ban it, please tell me what is the real position, should I continue this medicine or not

My wife is suffering from chronic gastitis and taking flupentixol and melitracen tab for fourmonths. If she discontinues again problem of gastitis started . Should she continue to take the same or not . It was prescribed by the doctor when she lost her remarkable weight due to depression associated with gastitis. now she has already gained 10 kg of weight.Asper ultrasound &other reports she has no other problem.
