Hi, I was prescribed this medication on 4th June this year for 7 days as during an endoscopy they found about 40 white lumps in my gullet, they sprayed it and it didn't go away so they said it might be thrush... they couldn't take biopsies as my INR was 2.8 (i am on life long warfarin) .. my symptoms prior to the treatment were pain in the area of my hiatus hernia radiating down to my lower abdomen, difficulty swallowing (also have thymic hyperplasia) and really bad chest pain. I finished the full course but ever since still waking up early hours with the same pain which lasts for hours and i can't get any sleep and i have lost my appetite and feel nauseous all the time. They said if it didn't work i would have to go back for biopsies, could it be cancer ? nobody explain...

can i stop pantaprazole for a couple of days in order to take fluconazole? ## WHY WOULD YOU STOP THE PANTOPRAZOLE ## Well what i have understood is that the Pantaprazole can decrease the effects of Fluconazole and it might not work ## HI DOGGY, IN THAT CASE YOU CAN STOP THE PANTOPRAZOLE JUST BE AWARE YOUR REFLUX MAY GIVE YOU TROUBLE, I CANT MISS EVEN 1 DOSE WITHOUT HAVING GI UPSET. I have been taking Microgestin 1/20 for 6 months. I have not missed a pill or taken one late in over 2 months. My period usually comes heavily when I stop taking the active pills (there are no placebos in the pack, instead you get your period the 7 days you don't take the pill after the 21 active pills) and lasts 4-6 days of those 7. A little over a week after having unprotected sex (besides the pill) I began to bleed with 4 active pills left. It bleed like my period it was heavy and I went through about 2 tampons and 2 pads a day, and lasted 4 days. The bleeding lasted the last 4 active pills and then when I stopped for those 7 days my period was not present. Is it possible that I'm pregnant? I am suffering from bad fungal infection since last two years, it is found on my penile head(red rashes) & on foreskin(cracked) & repeatedly coming back, I am taking sporidex AF 750 cap & fluconazole 200mg once in a week & pre probiotic cap of 100 million cfu twice daily, using ointment zimig alternating aloe vera gel(skin care) on the infected area. when is the best time of day to take fluconazole? I have to take 5 doses of 100mg every other day, I just really wish I knew what to expect after I've taken this med, I hate side effects.. I've taken it before but just 1-pill after taking antibiotics but 5 of them has me worried!! ## Hello, Tracy! How are you? There is no real best time of day, it really just depends on you. If it makes you drowsy, you may want to take it at night, or if it makes you nauseous, you may need to take it after a meal. The exception would be if your doctor has specified a specific time you should take it. Other side effects may include flatulence, rash, headache and diarrhea. I have seborrehic dermatitis on scalp and face. Some type of dandruff appear on my ear and eyebrow. Skin redness and acne appear due to oily skin. Hair break easily and falling and yellow dandruff on my scalp. What should I do? My age is 21. My Dermatologist prescribed only Clotrim Lotion & Strieproxal Shampoo. My 2 month passed, not improvement. I read everywhere that I have to take Anti-Fungal medicine orally in order to remove it completely from Scalp. Anyone else taking or taken IV fluconazole for valley fever? I first tried 4 weeks of 400mg tablets but got serious side effects. Then tried itraconazole and after 4 wks it was not even showing up in blood levels. Then got a PICC line and in my 13th week of fluconazole 400/day IV. Had blood clots so also on lovenox. And had yet another clot so now on heparin. I have hair thinning and hair loss, exhaustion, swollen muscles and body, swollen feet, no taste buds, no appetite, itching sensation without a rash. After taking the 150 single dose of fluc.. yesterday I am noticing my body is having a very heavy yeast discharge. It was very mild before taking it. Hi, instead of taking the capsule orally, I misunderstood the instructions and took them vaginally instead, as my previous medication had usually been taken vaginally. Is this dangerous? Do I need to go see the doctor? ## You should consult your doctor, but it's most likely not dangerous. However, if it wasn't intended to be used as a pessary, you may not have absorbed enough, you may have caused a different type of an infection, or you could have absorbed too much. It's hard to say without knowing the specifics of which one you took. Was it for a vaginal yeast infection?

My GYN prescribed me FLUCONAZOLE USP 150mg and stated "take one immediately and the second in 3 days" this discomfort is unbarable. Could I take the second pill today as this is the second day from the first dose? If not, wat can I do to take away the pain and irritation?! ## Hello, Layla! How are you feeling? If I wanted to take a pill form instead of the liquid, what would 1.5ml convert to in pills? How many mg's would I need to take? ## Without knowing how much is in that 1.5ml, no one would be able to answer your question. The 1.5ml is just a liquid measurement. There should be some other information on it, such as the dosage per 5mls, or something similar, it may be in the form of two numbers like this 5/1.5 or 5/5. I got prescribed this medication Fluconazole 100MG for three days. I took the first one at 250 but on the second day i forgot to take it at the same time but i still took it. And today was my last day and i took it around the time I was suppose to (around the same time i took the first one). Will it effect my results??? ## Hi, Jessica! How are you?
