Fluconazole Taken Vaginally
UpdatedHi, instead of taking the capsule orally, I misunderstood the instructions and took them vaginally instead, as my previous medication had usually been taken vaginally.
Is this dangerous? Do I need to go see the doctor?

You should consult your doctor, but it's most likely not dangerous. However, if it wasn't intended to be used as a pessary, you may not have absorbed enough, you may have caused a different type of an infection, or you could have absorbed too much.
It's hard to say without knowing the specifics of which one you took.
Was it for a vaginal yeast infection?
