Hi,

I just took fluconazole single dose last night. However, the watery discharge still there. How long does it take to be completely gone? And what food should i avoid during this period (that will affect the effectiveness of the fluconazole) as i know the fluconazole lasts 7 days in our body.

Hello, Lice! How are you?

It will take a few days for the Fluconazole to full eradicated a yeast infection and there is no food or beverage that you need to avoid, as reported by the U.S. FDA.

However, a watery discharge is not usually the symptom of a yeast infection. It is usually thick, white and looks like cottage cheese. Are you sure you have a yeast infection? Did a doctor confirm it?
