Fluconazole 150mg

My doctor precribed 3 day 150 mg fluconazole for intestinal yeast (plus 2 refills). Is 3 days enough and when should I take the rest? Thanks

The dosing varies, depending on the infection being treated and the severity of it, many cases only require one dose, but since your doctor prescribed it for 3 days, it's a fairly good guess that the infection is pretty problematic and they want to make sure to wipe it out.

As to when to use the rest, unless they instruct you to do so, they probably just prescribed them as in case measure that aren't intended to be used. Some doctors will do this, so if the first round doesn't completely clear it up, they can just have you run to your pharmacy for another refill, rather than have to go in for another appointment.
