Advice please.. I got my first yeast infection after taking amoxicillin for a sinus infection. Doc prescribed fluconazole 150mg I took one with the antibiotics a week ago and finished the antibiotics today and took another fluconazole as told. Still have some itchiness and soreness how long does this last? Is it normal to be sore for a while after?

It may take a few days for you to experience results, if things don't improve after approximately 3 days, or if they get worse, you should consult your doctor.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
