Do flector patches go bad after several years, can they still be used ..besides loosing their strength, can they hurt you? ## Hello, Havy! How are you? All medications lose efficacy with time, so they will likely not work as well as they did when new, if they are expired. However, they do not become dangerous. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, skin redness, and skin irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was shocked today when I picked up a months supply of flector pain patches.Last month I paid $22,this month $60!Has anyone else noticed a sharp increase in price or is this just another way to get people off pain meds? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you? I'm sorry about the price increase. However, it's really just a matter of supply and demand. The price may change at any time. This isn't a narcotic, so it's not one of the ones they're trying to cut down on being used. Flector contains the active ingredient Diclofenac, which the FDA classifies as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. I am currently using the flector patch and have a urinary track infection and was prescribed bactrim. Is it ok to take these together? ## Hello, Breeze! How are you? The Bactrim can actual increase the efficacy of the Flector, but it's not considered to be a dangerous interaction, unless someone is extremely sensitive to mediations or allergic. Is the prescribing doctor aware that you're on the Flector? The FDA classifies Bactrim as an antibiotic and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Side effects for Flector may include nausea, dizziness, headache and skin irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Does this patch cause anxiety to become worse? ## The Flector patch contains the active ingredient Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. There are no warnings included that suggest it can worsen anxiety, but medications can affect everyone differently. What has your doctor or pharmacist said about it? The most common side effects can include: nausea, headache and stomach irritation. Read more: ## I believe that it does. As soon as a began taking this medication, I experienced horrific nightmares and woke up with extreme chest pains and trouble calming down. After the first two nights of this, I will no longer mess with this drug. I have never experienced panic attacks such as this. I believe it was directly related to the drug. Are/ were your symptoms similar?
