Flagyl Uses And Side Effects

Does anyone have any remedies to get over the side effects of Flagyl or does anyone know of a Doctor that acknowledges the side effects?

eat yogurt or drink happy milk. the acidophalus in them will help.

I wished i knew how to get over this side affects of this awlful drug. they gave it to me in hospital and now i'm so sick , it almost killed me. please if anyone can help me get better from this let me know. i'm still so weak . it's even hard to type this .thank you for hearing me out. my stomache is kkilling me. and i'm so sick all over.

If you have stopped taking the drug, they will eventually go away on their own. I am sorry you are feeling miserable, but adding more drugs/treatments may just add more side effects.

I had an IV course of Flagyl in the hospital for 5 days for UC, and another week of it in pill form at home. I quit the drug 2 days ago and I am still dizzy and a bit disoriented and fatigue easily. My UC symptoms are completely gone, but I just can't shake this dizzy, disoriented feeling. Does anyone know how long this will last and is there a quick way to get it out of my system. I need to return to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off and I'm still having a hard time focusing and concentrating. I tried to drive a short distance this morning and it was very difficult. My eyes seem slow to catch up with my head when I turn it.

I have no remedy to offer. I am looking for answers, also.
I stopped the drug 5 days ago and am having great fatigue, dizziness, and depression. I do not want to do anything. I move in slo-mo, when I move at all. I sleep a whole lot. It tires me to hold a bowl to eat, which I REALLY don't care whether I do or not--just know I must.
If anyone has any idea how long these side effects will last, I would appreciate hearing from you.

I had severe pain from a diverticulitis attack and am taking a generic form of Flagyl. I have been taking it with DanActive to increase my probiotic intake. Yogurt helps and definitely eat when taking the medicine. I usually experience side effects from most medication but am only having minor effects this time.
