First Timer Taking Diane 35

Hi good day, I just gave birth to my daughter 2months and 2days ago today and I want to start taking pills. It's my first time to try this diane 35. I'm on my 4days of period is it ok if I start to take it tonight? Thanks in advance for your answer .

Hello, Eve! How are you? Congratulations on your daughter.

You can start taking this tablet at any time, but given that it is this late in your period, you will need to take it for a full 7 days, according to NIH studies, before it will actually protect you from becoming pregnant. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, and PMS-like symptoms.
